Another Newbie In The Dark??

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which would be the best way to ****Must Reach Freshman Investor status before posting URL's***"m now living and working in CA..we have poeperty on the market whcih I have a 1/3 instrest in..my share after selling should be bout 30 to 40 tho..I'm thinking of reloacting and investing in propties
( duplex's 2 to 4 units) in indiana...should I buy before I move..?? confused

    Buying that far away is expensive, It can be done if you know the market and can spot a good deal when you see it. If you just want to buy something any one can buy something without any research just by tossing a dart at a MLS printout. I would lease there first for a few months to get to know the market. If prices are falling and have not reached bottom you may not want to buy or if orices are too high and you can not find a deal you may not want to buy. Really a lot of unknowns in your post to help much more
