National No Call List Effects???

180degrees profile photo

I have a good question. I live in Az, where notice of defaults are listed on line so finding foreclosure notices is somewhat easy. I started calling on them for ones which had listed numbers.ANy feedback on how the national do not call list might legally effect calling these people to try and help them??? Technically, we are telemarketing ourselves and the last thing I need is getting fined for this! Any comments? confused

Do not know the legality of the national do not call list, but are you purchasing these notices of default, no, you are not, they are public record. I do not believe any nat'l do not call list will affect you.
Also, people who are in default usually don't take the time to go throught the lengthy process of reporting you for trying help them, if they become beligerent then just be polite and hang up the phone.

    good luck

You are calling to purchase something not sell them something, two very different things. Very different from trying to have them switch phone companies or sell them magazine subscriptions.
