Look in the local paper. Call the local investors with the "we buy houses" "fast closings, cash" "lease/option" ads and inform these sellers what you are looking for. Investors can sell somthing to you on a great deal, if you are willing and able to move quick.

Good luck trying to find 10 Acres in Riverside, however.

I just talked to the finance co. that sold my 10 acres and they said it was still in escrow with the new buyer but they would see if he was willing to make a profit and pull out of the escrow and i could buy it back for probably 100,000. he asked me if i could come up with 20,000 by tomorrow. (LOL) now property land here is outrageous and hard to find and I got the best view lot around with million dollar houses on both sides of me. I could sell in a heartbeat cuz realtors are always asking me too. The question is do I do this? How do I come up with 20,000 that fast? and I'd be crazy not to try to buy it back for 100,000 right?...helpppppppppp

Please, send me an e-mail (see my profile) with more detailed information regarding your situation. The redemption laws in California may allow you to redeem NOT buyback the property provided that you are within the established timelines. I will give you more specific info via e-mail. If you were just foreclosed and the property went through the trustee sale, you may indeed have time. Time is of the essence. Good luck!
