Long Distance phone call charges!!!!

frankCA profile photo

Short sale lenders seem to be mostly out of state so between long distance phone calls and faxes my bill will go OUT THE WINDOW! I have located one company
who charges a flat five cents a minute.
Can anyone here offer a better idea?

    frankCA,

Check Wal-Mart for prepaid phone cards. I have seen them between 2.9 cents to 3.4 cents from AT&T.

I use an AT&T card and just renew the card when the time runs out, this way I keep the same numbers programmed in my phone.

If your phone has speed dial it helps.

Personally, I use my cell phone for long distance calling. I have unlimited nights and weekends and free long distance. When I can't use it, I use a prepaid calling card. Also, Nextel (cell phone) has a free incoming plan.

I tried the Ztel suggestion...they don't service my area code yet.

I have been looking at length for a flat rate unlimited domestic call program (flat monthly fee, not flat per-minute rate)

    Anyone got a lead?

    Thanks/Mark

    Hi Frank,

Why not try to get teh 800 numbers from the lenders. They all have one. Until you establish a relationship with the Loss Mit rep and are certain they will take your calls, use the 800 #'s.

Once you start closing deals the phone bill will be a non-issue

    Talk to you Monday.

    Dwan
