Basics Of A Deal

Ok- First time

There is a house and at the auction yesterday no one bid on the property that was being foreclosed and the trustee said "Sold to Countrywide". They were not there but since no one bought it I guess they got it back.

House is worth around 220K, at the auction for 189K.

What is my next step now. Not for just the house but any, do I contact the owner, lender, etc... What do I ask, I talked to Countrywide and they said to go to the REO website but the house is not there ....Does it take a month to get on the website etc...

Thanks for any information

Who is on the Deed? does Countrywide have a lien on the property or do they actually own it? If they do not have the Deed find out who does and start from there. For Countrywide to put the house at an auction they must have a strong attachment, my question is What????????
