Case Study Section

How about a section of the site where the experienced real estate investors can post their case studies in order to help educate the other members? I feel this would greatly help the novice and experienced investor.

Real life case studies are a great way to explain written materials via real examples.

Contrary to what others may think, anytime I have e-mailed or called Joel he has responded quickly.

PropBot is a major undertaking, however Joel is very attentive when it comes to helping out on this discussion board.

Experienced investors post quite often whenever a question from a poster is posted. Since deals require involvement from a State Statute point, posting without consideration of where a poster is located may lead an investor down the wrong path as I have noticed in reading on the board for the past many years.

Everyone should for their own benefit give their locations, this way information received will apply to their investing area. Every post is a case study by paying particular attention to the investors question when answered. Thus a discussion board not a case study workshop, which are given by several course writers.

    Good points John.
There is another REI board that I visit where two or three members rule the roost and hand down decrees on how people should invest throughout the country (or the world) based on their geographic location.
