Has anyone ever sent postcards directly to the property owners of homes listed in the Trustee Sales Auction Calender and will be auctioned off in a matter of weeks sometimes just days? Or are these homes too far gone and too late to save? Excuse me if this topic has been covered before. THX, Maggie

The answer is Yes. Many folks do send out post cards. I like the personal touch and do not send out post cards. Keep in mind that when you send your postcard so will many other investors. Get the edge and bang the door. By the way 2 weeks prior to forclosure is more than enough time to make a deal happen. I have done it on the afternoon before the sale. I have found that the closer you are to the sale the better off you are in negotiating a better deal.
