    There is not enough information here to answer your question.

    If you put your property up as collateral, then yes the creditor can place a lien.

    If they obtained a court judgment against you for non-payment, then again, yes they can.

    Liens have to be authorized by you or government authorized (judge, county, state, Federal, etc.)[ Edited by dnvrkid on Date 11/18/2004 ]
