How To Get Rid Of Inqs?

JohnCl profile photo

Anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of all of the inqs on my credit report? Only authorized twice but have over 10 per bureau (broker runs it without asking, shops the loan, potential lendors run it, whichever lendor sells it and it gets ran again, etc). I did not authorize half of these inqs

Experian won't delete, TU and EQ are more cooperative. Try calling. Also, there is a technique called "bumpage" where you join privacyguard or another service and pull your own reports a lot. After 3 months or more of daily soft pulls, the softs begin to displace the hards. Check www.Creditboards.com ... its name is not spoken aloud much anymore there in order not to cue in the CRAs ... often it's referred to as "nothing" or "B*"

    The Huntington National Bank 07/15/2004
    Credit Union of Ohio 07/15/2004
    Fleet National Bank 02/24/2003

The following inquiries were never initiated by myself and I again have no prior knowledge of ever applying for a bank account at any of the following institutions. Therefore, I'm requesting that following information be removed promptly from my consumer report.

    Sincerly,

    Lamont Adair
