Great News on credit
So I have one credit score that is just dragging... I can not get them to remove items and so on... I really don't have that bad of credit. - honestly I check my credit every day or so through a membership. my score has been stuck at 549 for months. Well I have a purcahse agreement on a house I need to buy. I took one last desperate step yesterday and protested every negative item. I woke up today and my score was 634. So I hurried up and "official" had my credit pulled for the loan - with conforming scores. Point is, that it appears that at least with equifax, items that are in dispute are not use to calculate your score!!!!

Hi Drifter,
When you get a minute can you e-mail me and let me know the name of the company you have a membership with. I have not found one that allowed me to check my score everyday, they were always on a monthly basis.
Did you do your disputing on-line? That is amazing.
the two monthly memberships I have are to www.creditexpert.com (experian) and to www.equifax.com
both are about $80 with 30 days free. I have not found anything but the monthly for transunion
I did write and submit an article with everything I have learned about credit... not sure if it was published or what - you might check the articles on this site. Maybe I should resubmit it???
