Dispute
I disputed a charge off and my fico jumped 50 points right away. Does a dispute temporarly put a hold on that tradeline? In other words is my score going to go back down when the dispute is resolved? (depending on the outcome of corse). Thanks soapy
As far as I know, that happened at one time on EX or EQ, but doesn't anymore. My guess would be you got a permanent delete already.
When you dispute something on your credit, an investigation is done by the bureau, At that time one of two things happen the company agree wth you, it is then removed or they don't agree with you, at that time the bureau will tell you that you are able to explain your point in the matter. So if the latter hasn't happened then the creditor removed the item from your file
