Different Credit Reports/ 3Q's

i've only seen my credit score thru experion.

How much of a difference will the other 2 be?
Do they score on the same scale?
Is there one report that is usually lower or higher than the rest?

yes, all 3 reports can be different scores.
This is because creditors report to different bureaus. When you looked at your experion you probably didn't see all of your accounts listed.
If you are just trying to get an idea of where your credit stands then just checking one report is sufficient. If you are really trying to pick it apart and are concerned about your scores and bringing them up then by all means get each report.

And know that getting your credit report will not necessarily give you your scores. Do some checking around if you want your 3 scores. I did a tri-score report online about 18mos. ago for about 40.bucks. My scores varied by 80pts. and I saw no errors, just different info.

    I have a personal example:

my fiance had NEVER checked her credit report in 3 years. We check it a couple months ago and it seems that she has 2 collection accounts reporting to only Equifax. We ran the other 2 and it didn't show up.

what does this mean? it means that she has a sub 550 score on Equifax, but almost a 700 score in the other two bureaus.

    HUGE difference.

speaking from a lender postition. we would take the middle score. strict A paper lenders normally just take experian score. Experian has a new consumer scoring system called Power Score. Which is normally lower than the Experian Score they show us. example you get your power score 730. For us its really a 660. on A paper deals All Unpaid collections must be paid via in closing or out of closing. Ive noticed that transunion is normally a higher score . experian is a bit stringent . The scales are all different with the 3 bureaus. I recommend that Collections be deleted as they stay on credit for 7yrs. Low balances . are a good start to boost your credit.
