Did Not Negotiate Credit Reporting
5 years ago I settled an account with First USA. All of the principal and no interest amounting to 50% of amount sent to collections. I did not negotiate the way the debt would be reported. I am recently engaged in repairinig my credit, and In obtaining my credit report this past month I can see this account reporting as "Settlement Accepted on this Account" Q: Can I get this removed. after reading the boards tonight I have learned so much more about credit. Just want some feedback.. Thanks mjo
