Buying A Home Before Bankrupty Is Complete

Is there any way that I can purchase a home before the bankruptcy is complete? Or do I need to wait for the BK to complete... then who so I contact to negotiate the price of the property?

    Thank you for your advise.... the home of which I am speaking is not at this time my home.. I am not filing BK, some else is... it is their home that I am interstesed in.

    blackbearcorporate,

    Glad to meet you.

    At this time the Bankruptcy Court holds the assets of the Bankrupt, so you would need the courts permission to purchase the property.

    thanks, I will give them a call to get those addresses off.
    The name that is listed as my spouse, is not my ex. Just a name that was listed, that is why I thought it was strange. All my accounts are in good order. My only ding is too many inquiries, but that happens when you open several mortgages to purchase rental properties.
