Are these steps/docs/checklist sufficient/correct?
To buy:
1) Ask seller to sign Purchase Agreement and give seller deposit
2) Ask seller to sign Power Attorney
3) Ask seller to sign Smoke Detector Agreement (optional)
4) Register yourself as new owner at dmv
5) Pay seller the balance due
To sell:
1) Sales Agreement
2) Credit Application (or share with PM)
3) Promisory Note or Lease Option Agreement
