Considering Doing Modular Or Open Face
Hey you guys,
I have acquired a lot in Oakland that I initially wanted to sell but I saw a listing two doors down for $410K, so I'm now considering building. I don't know much about building, been around some of the jobs with other investor friends but I have not solo-ed! Anyways, does anyone know of a quality modular builder I heard something about a company in Sacramento and supposedly their quality is comparable to stick? Any thoughts on how to go about this process - best ways to get thru city of Oakland? I was told by one of my instructors that Open-faced is easier to pass thru the city because it's job security for the inspector's? Love to hear your comments on this. I thought I had a buyer but he turned out to be a broker who wanted to partner with me but not put out any money - silly huh?
