Wondering if anyone has changed a single family house into 2 townhouses, where it would be 2 seperate properties? NOT saying into a duplex. Ifso how did it go. Thanks
MIke, construciton is apperently not your main RE field. To be accurate, the unswer to this question wold demand eplanation orf many factrors and conditions:
is the original structure sqft.?
Single or double story structure?
rchitect - initial consultation and if viablle make drowings
Building dpt. - aprove the plans
Zoning dpt. - verify zoning and make sure they understand what you wan to do.
I've seen often when a single story SR is turned into duplex nut not into town homes. I would give it a 5-10% chance but without more details that would not be accurate estimate you can relay on.
