Terrified Birddog Needs Advice

EstateHunter profile photo

Hi Everyone,
I purchased John's Birddogging book (what a terrific investment) and found the independant contractor's agreement very helpful. He does caution to get an attorney but I'm not sure which type of attorney to get. I can't afford much and I know that just "any" attorney won't do. Anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I've got my first investor and first lead to sell and have to have some sort of contract together by 10/04/03. I'm scared to death. Please help!

Signed,
Excited and Terrified in Michigan

I would seek a Closing attorneys advice. They deal with real estate everyday and now the ins and outs.

I am sure there are some others here that may have better advice.

I believe you have a good contract in hand... John is pretty good... If you need advice on it seek a contract attorney/real estate attorney

Don't be intimidated by lawyers. You can usually get a free consultation. By the way...have you ever heard of legal insurance? Not trying to sell anything here , but a buddy of mine just put me on to it. I used the lawyers to review my documents for free. I also plan on using them in the future for other questions/matters with birddogging. It helps to know you have a lawyer without paying exorbitant fees, esp. when trying to do business for self.

If you're interested, I'll put you in contact with my friend, just send me a private msg.
