Question

Can someone tell me if I, as a liscensed realtor, bird dog and merely give directions to a property would I receive a commission through my broker or would I get the usual finder's fee without going through my broker. I recently started working with an investor who said it would be commission but if I am not writing the contract or negotiating the deal but merely giving directions to a property that would not be considered a liscensed activity. I just want to make sure it is all legal. Thanks.

I think if the property was on the MLS it might make a difference. If you trust your broker you might ask them but they may by default say yes it is a licensed activity.
