Your PDA should have Excel on it. If you set up the relationship correctly between the PC and PDA, the spreadsheet will update automatically when changes are made.
One of the programs is called "Documents To Go". You can download a trial version here: http://download.com.com/3000-2079-10028517.html
I use it. Viewing spreadsheets on a small screen is not my favorite, but if you stick to one page documents, it works well
Good luck,
Jeff
Thanks for the info.
But in general, how do you folks keep track of contacts, appts, chores?
Which is a good all around PDA?
(I don't think I need one with mp3, and other fancy stuff)
Thanks!

I am using a Plam M515 and it works great for most everything I do. For documents and spreadsheets that is what I have a laptop for (with a power inverter and printer)
I am thinking of going to the Ipaq though as I like the transcribing features better and can access the net and my email a little easier.
Buy these used maybe on Ebay for a large discount.
I use pocket pc e755. It is a great instrument. It is just like working on your pc. It is windows based, therefore it has excel, word, outlook and more. I have all the necessary docs and excel spread sheet on it. It is very easy to sync up. Whether is from pc to pocketpc or vice versa. One of the very neat functions that I utilize alot is beaming business cards to the pocket pc or from phone to pocket pc. If you need more info on the pocket pc let me know.

I use an HP IPAQ, you can find the most basic in the 1900 series and most elaborate in the 5000 series. It's a great piece to have. It's my organizer, planner, check book, address book, reminder, to do list and can record memo's on the go. It's small and fits in your pocket...
Hope this helps.

I also use the Pocket Pc. Just got it and still trying to make it all happen, but so far I have created a very expensive address book.
