Looking For HELP In Las Vegas!

I just moved to Las Vegas looking to hook up with some investment clubs or a mentor of sorts for a little while. I'm not having much luck, one of the meetings I came for ended up being cancelled for the month. I want to get on the ball right away and was hoping someone would have some information on where I could find a group or a person to get in contact with. I am also in Las Vegas and as you can likely tell by my name, I'm a Newbie. *grin*
I'd like to hook up with other local REI's or hopeful REI's like myself. I consider myself in the prep phases of Real Estate Investing in that I need to fix my credit and get to know the market before diving in headlong.
Anyone having any networking sessions?
