Just Starting Out

Sourcefinance profile photo

I'm just starting in this field, and I want to do well. I will be buying notes, and providing loans. I've read the post and found a wealth of information that I will act on ASAP. My question is this,"How do I go about finding those preforclosures...is there a listing for those like the regular forclosures?" I think this could be good. I'm very ready. Please help in any way.

Thanks

Preforeclosures are normally found on the list of houses to be sold at sheriff sale. In my area they publish the auction list 60 days in advance so you have a bit of time to contact the homeowners.

You can also run the "we buy houses" ad.

You can look up the Notices of Default that are sent out from the county recorders's office as well.

Speak with RE attorneys, banks, property managers, and they may be able to give you an inside scoop as well.
