Is There Something Wrong With Mobile, AL?
If any of you who invest in or near Mobile, Alabama could comment. Is there something wrong with property values in Mobile? A major job loss or something else?
I was just told by another investor to avoid Mobile because people are moving out to another city/county. It happens that I have a property opportunity up there but this news makes me uneasy. The house is in the Oakwood Estates subdivision in the city of Mobile.

I just read in the lastest issue of "Money" magazine that the properties are over-valued there by about 20%. This might be a consideration in that they might be ready to drop.
