Ask them for a loss history of insurance claims on their apartment or condo. They can obtain a copy of the loss history from the condo association who can get it from their insurance agent.
Sorry for late reply, but your Agent should be able to run a CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report hat should indicate prior claims...
