Incredibly Low Offer

I made an offer on a multi unit complex in SoCal on friday. The unit was listed in the MLS for 250k and it needed some work. It was a great price for the area so I immediately faxed an offer to the agent for 199k. I got a call from the agent on saturday morning saying that it was the only offer the sellers had gotten, but the MLS listing was a mistake. The unit was supposed to be listed at 750k and not 250k. Unfortunately, it won't cashflow over 500k, so i couldn't go back to them, but the agent said they would be in touch. I guess if it looks to good to be true it is, but it doesn't hurt to make an offer. Sorry for the long story, just thought it was funny.
