Equity Holding Trust

I'm looking for information on Equity holding trusts. This seems to me to be a really great way to persuade seller to give title with very little cash.

I'm sure there is a downside too. Any courses out there??

Do web search. I've been trying to figure them out too. I may be wrong, but so far all I can figure is they're just the newest way to

    1) Name a trust to hold your assets safely (!?) when a land trust will accomplish the same thing, and

    2) Create yet another "product" to sell to eager new investors

I'm thinking they would be alot more useful.

If I could structure an equity holding trust that would allow a motivated seller with lots of equity to give me a deed with the promise of future percentage of profit on the backend that might be very useful, especially on higher value properties with lots of equity.

However I may be mistaken on the uses of this..

    BigWave:

Loon has it a wee bit discombobulated...
    more on that later...

Now getting back to your question regarding the Equity holding Trust:

It is essentially a concept(Equity Hold part) that has expertly crafted legal and finacial addendums which enhance the avg. boilerplate trust model.

The EHT is better known as the PACTrust(tm) and NEHTrust(tm) system offered by NARS (No. American Realty Services)

The CEO and Crown Prince of the EHT is my personal Mentor BILL GATTEN.

He has coached hunrdeds of un-initiated RE Investor to use Land Trusts as SAFE LEGAL and CREATIVELY FLEXIBLE devices that Help Motivated Sellers and Buyers to DO DEALS that otherwise would not or LEGALLY Could NOT in a conventional RE Sales Transaction.

As you can tell I'm a little looney when it comes to those RE Investor types that chant the 'Pooh-Pooh' mantra all over the EHT method.

Personally before I ever paid BILL GATTEN (NARS) a single Penny---
He helped me to CLOSE an $850K trust deal outside of Chgo in 2002!

Not only has this generosity been limited to myself feel free to visit his website (www.LandTrust.net) and peruse the tons of info awaiting the Inquisitive REIer!

I was so impressed by NARS that I now represent their product line for investors!

Note--LOON please take thi as no offense but you should possibly try to research to give us all a little more informed opinion before posting ?
