Cheapest Property Worth Owning?

I'm a first time investor and work let me get my feet in the water by buying a cheaper property. Would buying say, a condo, be a good start?

I'll answer your question as no one else has. A condo may not be cheaper...depending on where it is located. For example, here in Miami condo's go for 200k...and you can buy a small house on the outskirts of town for 150k.
If you want the cheapest of the cheapest...go for a double-wide trailer. Make sure you are buying the lot also...they have a section on this board about this very topic.
Why not try to find some junkers (cosmetically) and sell the contract to another investor? You could pick up an easy 5k-10k with no real money coming from your part.

I also was looking at some condos. An older gents was selling 4 in the same area... Numbers looked very good for cash flow until I plugged in the association fee. Killed the Deal.. Its all about the Deal, not the property...
