Bought My First House!
Hi All,
I just wanted to tell you that I closed on my first house last week! I'm so excited and proud of myself for overcoming the intense fear I experienced at times during the process! I bought an REO in a great neighborhood and am now focusing on the minor repairs it needs.
My thanks to TCI. This site has been such a help to me. I just got off the phone with a member who specializes in similar investing and was so kind to share pointers. I also found my lender here, a biggie, as I am self employed and needed to find a no doc.
Of course there are no guarentees as to the outcome, but it's great to have options!

Congrats to you!!! I recently bought a single family home for rental property as well too!! Best part is I am getting poisitve cash flow....on my first deal!! I am excited and well on my way with my goals.
It has taken awhile to get to this point, but I am starting to see things clearer these days.
Again, congrats to you...and keep it up!! More deals out there...go get em

I grew uo in Munhall above Homestead. I still have some family back there but now live in sunny So Cal.
You have a right to be proud of yourself. You did what many others in REI don't do. You conquered your fear any stepped out and did something.
