5 acres in Tulsa or near by.

There are no books of any note. I read one in England once but it was describing events back in the 1400's.

I always thought that those of you who live in the area know more about it then anybody else.

What I do when I need land for some purpose. I go down to the Hall of Records and I start poken around in the prior sales and I look at recent survey maps and try to get an idea of what is happening in my area of interest. I talk to Brokers and I talk to people who own land in the area. Go right up to them say Howdy er Good Morning Sir and ask away. I get a lot of strange answers but if your head is on straight you will figure it all out and come up with an idea of costs and what you should pay. Of course my favorite story is about land down in Ramona,California. I got talking to this nice man who was raising black berries. He just planted them and cared for them and when the time came he put out a sign and sold buckets and charged money for people to come out and buy and pick. Did pretty well. He offered to give me about half an acre if I would build on it the sort of house I described.

Think I will go down and talk to him again I am about ready to do just that. Bulld this little house on the hill and sit in it and write the great American Novel. Then and then only go back to work.

    Cheers Lucius
