Beginner - Walking Away With Cash?
I put a contract down on a 3 unit home, but need to work a deal where I can walk away from the table with 10K to complete the 3rd unit. The seller is not interested in completing the construction, so I need to work something where he can walk away not having to worry about the property any more. Any ideas are appreciated.
How much equity in the property? Maybe you could do an ARV rehab loan on the property
Get bids for the work and have the seller pay contractors at closing on the hud. Your offer will have to refelect the 10k increase and the property will have to appraise for the higher value.
