Assignment To The Buyer???
Hi! I am wanting to do short sales, but would like to assign the contract to the buyer, so no money comes out of my pocket! What is it exactly,Is this possible and how do I go about doing it?[ Edited by sarahdonnelly13 on Date 01/05/2004 ]
It is my understanding that the lenders will not accept a contract on a short sale that is assignable. I could be wrong, as soon as someone says it never happens, someone else comes along and proves them wrong.
Are you talking Short Selling or Flipping?
And if your talking flipping, Is your name going to be in the Chain Of Title?
I want to short sale then wholesale it to another investor, I guess that could be considered flipping also!
I am not sure what a chain of title is?
