Anyone Know A Mapping Program That Does Multiple Locations?

Kathleen profile photo

Hopefully for FREE. basically like mapquest or google maps, but where you can put in multiple locations and it shows you all of them together on one map so that you can plot "a course" to view multiple properties? I would think this would be a tool that would be used by not only investors, but surely real estate agents as they are showing houses for a client.

Anyone?? Thanks! Kathleen.

Well, mapquest, goggle and yahoo all have driving directions to multiple locations in print or map showing locations.
    I use them regularly.

Most RE Agents/Brokers have a GPS with this functionality built-in. See also http://www.thecreativeinvestor.com/ViewTopic63746-37.html Note that the entry level GPS models generally do not support mapping of multiple addresses.

many will route, few will do least cost route, or allow you to add a destination in the middle trip.

    www.mapquest.com (up to 10 points)

    www.bing.com (up to 16 points)

google maps (have not used it)

Street Atlas USA 2009 Plus (unlimited number of points). Comes with GPS device, hand-free talking, autorotate, etc. - around $100

Also, Microsoft has sTreetfinder I think. People have used that software successfully also.

I like using MapPoint by Microsoft.

    Not free, but very useful.

    Forget google and bing
I think you need this site geocommons (.com)[ Edited by snipershniper on Date 03/11/2011 ]

Streets and Trips can route a map for multiple locations. You can also get a GPS module for your laptop and it will turn into a turn by turn navagation system.

Streets and Trips is a Microsoft program you need to buy online...

I think if you are viewing multiple properties, you could use google maps and perform the plot.

I have emailed the directions to myself before I had a GPS device and that worked great.
