Sorry to contradict other post....There is nothing you can do until next year..march/april 2010....when your certificate becomes 3 years old...and you donot need an attorney....just apply for tax deed(u fill out a application form-tax collector)....and pay everyones taxes...meaning 2008 and 2009....plus some court handling costs...let me know county and PID# and I can tell you step by step...............also if someone else own 2006 certificate.....then he has the right to may you off with interest and apply for tax deed process.
By the way consulting an attorney for anything....will cost you MORE than the interest you are earning from TLC.......Good Luck!!!
You can also consult a financial expert about this that helps you to manage the tax lien certificate from a tax deed sales auction. You would then get the property and own it.
