none of the investors (full timers mind you) have ever mentioned that site, either that's because it's such a good secret that no one talks about it for fear of exposing it or it's not anything special...i'm leaning toward the latter [ Edited by way_motivated on Date 08/08/2003 ]
If anyof these sites were any good, there would be too many hits to handle. Don't spend too much time on crud like this. Keep in mind that though computer and internet usage increases every year, the largest percentage of the population does not list online.

A few years back when I purchased my last home, I looked at a few on forsalebyowner in the Dallas area. It wasn't bad, but I didn't find any "good" deals. Most of the home owners believed that being on the web site would ensure them fair market value without paying a commission. It seems like the cheap people flock to the site, not motivated sellers. IMHO this makes it a poor hunting ground.
