Short Sale On My House
I filed bankruptcy last year but have kept making payments on my house until I could find another and sell this one.
The house is for sale and but I haven't been able to make the last 2 payments and the bank is sending me letters saying they will accept a short sale.
I really need to get out of this situation. I've priced the house high enough to cover realtor fees and to give me enough for a down payment for another house. I feel I can get this price but not quick enough.
I feel the house will sell above $235,000 (my realtor says more) and I owe 222,000 including 1st and 2nd mtg. It's in a prime neighborhood in eastern oklahoma and is only 3 years old. It's a beautiful house.
