Short Sale Help...ABN AMRO
I found a lis pendens and was able to immediately speak with the individual (seller). There is no equity in the house and needs repairs. I got the authorization filled out and attached a list of repairs needed to be done. I contacted ABN AMRO and they told me a lawyer is already handling it (during the first week). I contacted the law office and faxed over the info to them. I then contacted the lawyer handling the file and left a message. On her message it stated she gets back to everyone on lis pendens in 7-10 days. This seems like an unusually long time.
Any advice would be appreciated.
