Dealing Directly With The Bank

Hi, my question is how does one deal directly with the bank on foreclosures? Or even notices of defaults? I was looking into buying a foreclosure or a home that had a NOD on it, but got stuck when trying to find out exactly where or who should I deal with? Can anyone help me? thanks

...Until the actual foreclosure sale you must deal with the seller...they still own the home until it is sold at the auction...hope this helps...

you will have to meet and greet with the bank. Most will have a setup where it goes to certain realtors after foreclosure, but some have a clearinghouse for certain people. Its a matter of who you know. Also if you are good enough, you can have the same bank do the financing, on it.

    Good Luck,

It will be a rare occasion when you will be able to deal directly with the bank. It would have to be a small local bank. The larger lenders farm the resale of their properties (REO) out via Realtors.
They're in the banking business not the real estate business.
