Can I please get some input on how to put ads in for properties I don't yet own. I am trying to get a buyer's list established and am not sure the best way to start. Thanks. :-?

Place ads where? On a website? In a newspaper?

years ago, when meeting with potential investors, I had a binder that included snapshots of all the properties I had, preliminary title reports, and a cursory fact sheet... with the Offer to Purchase already filled out.

Thanks for the quick response. Putting ads in the newspaper. I am in the process of working a deal on the purchase of a home and would like to have a potential buyer waiting to buy it from me. Should I go ahead and advertise it in the paper for sale, even though I haven't gotten the contract on it yet? Or, should I run a ghost ad, i.e.: Lease Option. Call me.

When I meet with Clients needing help with their business plan/business model, I recommend that they run periodic ads for both buyers and sellers....as an ongoing function.

By keeping a current list of ready, willing and able buyers... and knowing in advance their preferences, capabilities, and individual quirks, you won't have to go scrambling when you've hooked a live one.

I would definitely run an ad stating that you have a property for sale. When you get calls on the property, you can gather all the information about them. Then find a property that fits their needs and go from there.

    Good Luck!
