Historic Windows

I am restoring a historic bungalow in a local hisoric district. I am replacing the windows and instead of using double hung sash windows, I am looking to replace them with double hung wood windows that are more energy efficient. The ones I am looking for do not have the string and weights. They have weather stripping instead. The historic distric will allow them as long as they are wood (or wood faced). Anyone know where to find these? I am in Florida but am willing to order them and have them shipped. I remember and investor (who I have no communication with) said he bought his from a company in Texas. They will probably have to be custom made as they have to fit the original opening. Any help is greatly appreciated.
