Bees Inside Wall, How To Remove?

estateXchange profile photo

I am purchasing a foreclosure which has a bee problem inside the wall. It is a concrete block wall which the bees have entered into a hole made for the plumbing to enter the house. I have been quoted $275 to remove the bees but was wondering if there was a way I could do it (like a bug bomb or something) or if this is the best alternative.

Yeah except it will be hard to keep tract and the payments will vary monthly as there are about 50 dead ones to the 20 live ones I can see )

I guess when they get in the house they cant get out so they die on the window sill. I had this problem once before but the building needed to be tented for termites so that took care of the bee problem. I just cant believe it is $275 just to get rid of some bees! I guess its one of those dirty jobs that nobody wants to do.

If it were me, I would spray some of the expanding foam to close off the hole or some mortar or caulk. Seal them up and they will die.
