United Airline Pension Robbed Today!
Enron/Bush,Haliberton/Cheney,United/republican judge. The common thread? The taxpayer gets it in the duppa. I hope you guys can see the pattern here .The working class in American are under attack.
If you think that this 9 billion forgivness to United should include a 50% penalty to their employees-( they will collect 50 cents on each dollar of pension legaly negotiated and a binding(?) contract signed) explain your vision for we working class Americans. UAL will probably buy several smaller air carriers next year or even later this year-just like k-mart bought sears-Where are we going-besides backwards at 120 mph under Republicans? And what country shall I invest my gold bullion in due to American being sold out at breathtaking speed? What exactly (job name) will I be trained to do specifically-when all autos are made in China ?

Great tuff! Plumers and carpenter unions have a union board of trustee controled pension fund and yes there has been spotty shrinkage due to mis-managment but overall-due to the fact that in order to get a man out of the hall-your pension monthly contribution based on how many man hours you worked union employees must be paid monthly (@$3.00 H.R.) . So if you fail to pay the pension for your worker you get zapped immediatly . This is not the single payer plan controlled and administered by the company itself and given 4 years to fund-going on 25(legislation-BUSH)we must convert over to this type and wrestle control away from the wanna be UAL"S of the country/world or face same- any one got a better way to save our old folks pensions and not them go the way of the WWII Vets who wait 4 hrs for health care?
