New Show On TLC Property Ladder
Have any of you guys seen this new show on TLC called Property Ladder? I have seen a couple episodes. It looks like a good show. I heard about it from JasonVanOrden (moderator) from our real estate club back in about October when they were looking for people to be on the show. Does anyone know anyone that is going to be on it? Anyway, it is worth checking out. I think it is on Saturday nights.

The only complaint I have about the show is that it will bring even more uneducated investors to an overcrowded market and they will over pay for properties, which will hurt the real investors in the end...
I saw one show the other night where a couple bought a home for $150k (or so) and only wanted to make a $8k profit. They thought this was good for 6 weeks worth of work....
havent seen the show yet but someone did mention it to me. my reply was "i dont realy watch T.V." if its something education i just may have to check it out though.
not everyone does REI full time some may only do one deal a year and think its great. they may only have time to do one small deal a year because they work 9-5 jobs. in my area its a full blown sellers market and even long-time rehabbers will do tight deals with only 10k profit in it. they dont know how to find deals and really dont want to take the time to learn how. its good in a way because they can have those deals and as long as there time/money is tied up in a tight deal, then there are more big deals for me.
