Hi all,
I have been burnt too many times by all these Handyman contractors. Anyone can advise me any well established Home Improvement Corporations that can build dry wall for residences in central florida?

We cant give out references on the open forum. Besides most of the people looking at this arent in your area. I would post an ad, and hire one on full time. Or just look in the Tampa tribune there are Handymen ads all over. Set up a contract with one of them that they will give you a discounted rate and you guarantee them XX amount of hours or monies for the year. What I would also suggest is to go to the prettiest mobile home park in your area and ask for the maintenance guy, see if he will work on the side, or if you have that much business, put him on full time.
Any other suggestions as to how to find a good handyman from other users would be greatly appreciated.

However if anyone posts a reference, I will have to delete the post, as it states in the rules of the forum.

    Happy Hunting,
    Kyle

the best way to keep from getting "burnt" is to get them to give you a itemized estimate that you understand and agree with. if they want to charge more you can see why and what exactly extra is needed. cost plus is just a way of life. some contractors will bid low to get the job then add on later. the best way to stop cost plus is to learn what has to be done yourself.
