Designating A Farm Area....

neutral profile photo

I wanted to see what ideas people have on good ways to target an area with new houses. I read somewhere that a title company could help with this? If so, what would I be asking for>? Besides just driving around what other ways can help me define this target market? I want to put together a post card mail campaign asap. Thanks for any creative ideas!

Most companies who sell mailing lists can target specific neighborhoods and profiles. You might try looking into some of these services.

    neutral,

If I understand correctly, you are looking for an neighborhood in your area that has a large saturation of new homes.

A lot of list brokers have access to a "new move-in" list. You could ask a list broker or manager what zip code(s) in your area have had the greatest number of new move-ins in the recent months. Look in the Yellow Pages for "Mailing Lists", "List Brokers", or "Mailing Services".

At that point you can obtain a list of all the homeowner addresses in that zip code and mail postcards to them. Actually, you probably want to break the zipcode up and choose some specific carrier routes to test first. I would suggest starting with a list of around 3000 to test.

You could also ask an RE agent or builder who has experience (and who you trust) what zip codes are expanding the fastest in your area.
