What Was That Word?

buddy profile photo

Recently, during the discussion about the N. Carolina situation someone referred to the whole thing being____.

When I looked it up on dictionary site, that source stated the word was not yet accepted but was under consideration for inclusion in book. The meaning was something akin to "screwed up" or "confusion".

Anyway, I want to use that word to describe a fouled up title puzzle concerning a deal Im working on. Can the person who posted on that subject, ,or anyone, supply me with that word?

Thank you.

Nope, but one with similar meaning. Its a new word used by someone during NC discussion over their confused rules.

It was used by some dude in the NC regulation/rules discussion... as describing the fouled up mess. Being familar with most words I looked it up and wasnt in dictionary....but is under consideration for being www.added.I suppose ill have to go back through all those old posts.

It would be similar to the old military term "snafu"(used in WW11)

    (which meant "situation normal,all f----d up"wink

    How about "FUBAR"?

your right about similarity to millitary slang. But this word is a fancy new word used to describe a confused unresolved conflict between rules/laws and customary way of doing things.

Some dude used it during his post on that thread, "FBI, putting the cuffs on" - regarding the NC atty general trying to make use of land trusts illegal.
