Quit Claim Deed And Cancellation.

I run into a property situation(CA) regarding quit claim deed, and need help quick.
For whatever dump reason the husband signed a quit claim deed for the property to his wife. So now the husband will have no title on the deed even it was community property. Is there a way for the husband to regain the title? Can he cancel that quit claim deed? If so what would the paperwork name? Also, they are getting a divorce so the wife's cooperation is very unlikely.
Oncea again, once a Deed is recorded, there is NO such thing as "cancellation", and now the court is the only remedy unless the other spouse willingly deeds his half back to him.
