LLC In State Of Residence Or Business?

Karpukh profile photo

I live in CA and own several rentals in AZ. Which state should I create the LLC in?

Also, do I need an LLC for each (3 SF) property or can I bundle them in one?

I also have a Nevada Corporation, which is registered as a foreign corporation in California. Can I use it somehow here?

Thanks

    Thank you, Matty
I have just talked to an attorney and she suggested: state where I file my tax return. She also suggested I talk to a tax advisor. Don’t have one of these yet.

A simple phone call to her Broker is all that may be required to get her in gear. YOUR OFFER IS YOURS not the agents, they just happen to have the forms. Tell her you are going to use your own forms and write it up the way you want to offer, regardless of what she wants to do. More than likely she is not the Broker but an agent working for a broker and the law requires supervision. So if you call her Broker I can almost guarantee you, things will change quickly!! You are a BUYER, without them deals are not made. For Sale and SOLD are two different animals. Happy investing.

Wow..... I really do not know where to begin. In the states where I have apartments, the actions of the landlord would be completely illegal.

I would suggest that the friend contact the police and file a police report. Second to that find a good lawyer.

Get a lawyer NOW. What they did was completely illegal and she can (and should) sue for (her) lost property. Good luck.
