Breaking A PC. Need Advice
Similar to an earlier post, what do I do?
here are the details:
Signed a purchase contract and gave a security deposit of $3000 to a builder in NV on Saturday. Sort of led by realtor that the area was a "tight" market, but really my own stupid fault and lack of prior maket analysis.
Bottom line, I want out to get out of the contract. As it was a builder sale, I left with an executed contract and giving them my check.
I am inclined to stop payment on the check first monday, it would be an out of state check. I have not notified the realtor at this point but plan to make a phone call later today. Hopefully someone will respond with some advice.

Hire a cheap attorney and have him send the guy a letter. In most situations like this, he will not listen to you but will pee his pants when he gets a letter from a lawyer. Your not looking for skill on this one (unless he gets stupid), so go cheap.
