Where To Buy Material Handling Equipment?

i'm a warehouse manager for a small paper products supplier and my company has just constructed a new warehouse. i have recently purchased 7 used forklifts to be used in this warehouse, however, they are all in semi-operable condition. i was wondering if anyone knew where i could purchase replacement parts for these lifts. they are of various manufacturers, but primarily Schreck and Pegasus. i'll need parts ranging from a new wheel to an entire transmission and engine on some..any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks-- Eric

Eric, I was in a similar situation when upper management tried to cut corners by purchasing 'fixer-upper' equipment at auction and have yours truly magically make them work. Luckily, I found a place that sells OEM replacement parts for Schreck and other manufacturers. I found them at IVS (Industrial Vehicle Specialties)

Customer service there was great and they helped me even find replacements that had illegible serial numbers. I'd give them a try first. Good luck. Phil
