Where Do I Find A List Of Bank Auctions (in Az)

ransome profile photo

I have 3 houses already and am ready to take another step. What I am looking to do Is buy an auction house, where you must pay in full the next www.day.I would imagine that these houses would be the better deals in general.
I live in Phoenix. Are homes that they auction at the courthouse county owned, bank owned or what?Looking for a place to start...[ Edited by ransome on Date 04/23/2004 ]

I am new to the game so I this info may not be 100%.

I have been doing a lot of research here in Maricopa county, mostly looking for properties to bird dog. Most houses up until they hit the auction block are still owned by the homeowner. At the auction the bank may bid on the house and then it becomes a REO if the bank is the successful bidder. Otherwise it is sold to the highest bidder. Personally I think the better deals will be before the auction when you are dealing with the homeowner directly.

As for where to find the auctions you will have to search the county records or watch the newspaper legal notices. You can also go down to the courthouse I believe it is like 201 W. Jefferson or something along that lines and they will have the upcoming auctions posted.

Again this may not be 100% but as far as I have researched it seems pretty accurate.[ Edited by tarrx3 on Date 04/23/2004 ]
